When you save a version, Aquanode writes your data to Aquanode-managed object storage. It is S3-backed and provisioned for you, so there is nothing to configure and no storage provider to connect.
What you get
- Setup: none. Aquanode provisions and manages the bucket for you.
- Selection: it is the storage destination when you create a backup.
- Use when: you want backups and snapshots to work without configuring storage.
Snapshots are incremental, so repeated backups of the same machine stay efficient in both speed and storage usage.
